Anthony Hollyoak

July 12, 1966 -  March 31, 2022

Surrounded by his loving wife and children, Anthony passed away on March 31, 2022 at Bridgepoint Hospital after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland Anthony celebrated his 50th Anniversary living in Canada on March 4th, 2022 and always stayed true to his Irish roots.
Dear son of Elizabeth (Eilish) Hollyoak and the late Frederick Hollyoak “Big Fred”. Son in Law to Doreen “Dor” Middleton and the late James Middleton. Devoted husband and best friend to Nancy for 32 years. Proud father to Avery, Aidan and Devon. Loving hero to his sisters Iris Rapkoski (Stephen), Gail Sacuevo (Reyzaldi), Karyn Chaytor (Craig) and Sandra Hollyoak. Loving brother in law of Karen & Greg Halket, Kelly & Ed Cole, Jim and Andrea Middleton. Cherished uncle to Kaitlyn (Cory), Adam (Kate), Aaron (Mikayla), Sarah, Olivia, Alexandra, Evan, Giancarlo, Quin, Ashley (Andrew), Matthew, Christopher (Tamara), Justin (Aubrie), Nathan (Sarah), Riley (Mike), Tyler, Emma and many great nieces and nephews. Forever remembered by many family members in Ireland, Australia and England.
Forever in the hearts of his lifelong friends Tony, Carl & Angie, Enzo & Silvia, Tom & Carol, Will and Sharon. Dedicated Hockey Coach and Golf enthusiast. Anthony believed strongly in helping others and will always be known for his generous philanthropy. Anthony just recently celebrated his 30th Anniversary with Pattison Sign Group. All that worked with him witnessed his exceptional contribution to the employees, clients and the company.
The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, specifically Dr. Grainne Mary O’Kane and Dr. Malcolm Moore, Toronto General Hospital specifically Physician’s Assistant Sunita Chera, and the 13th Floor Nursing Staff Eaton Wing, and St. Michael’s Hospital specifically Dr. Shree Bhalerao, Dr. Gary May, Dr. Reza Gholami and Bridgepoint Hospital specifically 9th Floor Nursing Staff. The family would also like to thank the community of friends, neighbors and co-workers for all their love and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at Steam Whistle Brewery 255 Bremner Blvd., Toronto. The family will begin receiving guests at 11 a.m., with Funeral Service and Reception to follow at 12 p.m. Municipal parking can be found within walking distance.
