It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Anthony Chin Cheong...beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Born in Trinidad (West Indies), Anthony passed peacefully at his home in Mississauga (Canada) on Thursday May 29th, 2025 in his 65th year and just four years after experiencing a stroke, a challenge he met with quiet strength and resilience.

Beloved husband to Alison (nee Balkaransingh), father to Raina (Greg Harris) and Eric Chin Cheong. Grandfather to Benjamin and Oliver. Brother to Ronald and Suzanne (Sean Da Cruz). Uncle to Raymond, Lester, Alan, Kristen, Dominic, Duane and Danielle. Son of Aldric and Rita (Lee) (both deceased). Relative of the Chin Cheong, Homer, Lee, Nunes, Balkaransingh families and many others.

Funeral service to be held at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre (1535 S Gateway Rd, Mississauga, ON ) on Friday June 6th, 2025. Viewing will commence at 1pm, followed by a service at 2pm. A reception will follow on the premises from 3pm.
