It is with deep regret and sadness we announce the passing of Anthony Chaikalis on Wednesday September 10 2025. Beloved husband of the late Anna Chaikalis . Cherished father of Kostas(Margie),Jimmy(Adele),Angelika and predeceased by his son Terry(Tracy). Loving grandfather of Kristina, Travis ,Anthony,Alex,Deanna,Elyse and Laina. Dear brother of Anna, Nikolitsa Anastasia and Maria, beloved brother in law and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Anthony was born in Patras Greece moving to Canada as a teenager where he met and married his beloved wife Anna.He was a long time GM employee He raised his family in Scarborough with many visits to the farm on Rice lake which held a special place in his heart. lasting memories were made there with his immediate and extended family. He thoroughly enjoyed the family poker nights where he was known to have the best poker face .He was a diehard Maple Leafs fan always hopeful of winning another Stanley cup. He loved to fish and was very proud of his tomato garden and tried hard to teach his granddaughter how to grow his beautiful tomatoes . He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
