Passed away after a courageously fought battle on September 4, 2021 at the age of 71. Loving wife of Ray for over 30 years. Adored mother of Steve. Cherished nanny of Zachary and Kenzie. She also leaves behind siblings David (Anne), Benjie (Carol), Leesa (Steve) and daughter in law Kendra. Ann was a loving aunt of Kristine (Brian), Toni, Shawn (Ashlee), Sarah, Andy (Allison), Paul (Danielle) and Danny (Danielle). Ann will be greatly missed by her English family-sister in law Sue, brother in law John, nephews Graham (Virginie), Jon (Ania), cousins Jan, Richard (Carol) and all her other extended family and friends in Canada and the UK. She will be forever remembered for her feisty nature and her love of family, friends and golf. The family wish to express their heartfelt appreciation to the caring doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre and floor G9 Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the compassion and professionalism shown to Ann and her family. A special thanks to RN and friend Rita and favourite PSW’s Carol and Dani. Visitation will take place at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 12 pm- 4 pm. Due to COVID-19, masks must be worn at all times while inside the building. Donations will be gratefully accepted for R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.

From when we first met in public school, I knew Ann was special. Our lives intertwined for decades and every moment with her was memorable because of her kindness, and zest for life. Her laugh is unforgettable. She shared so much joy with everyone lucky to have known her. As she usually requested, I'll toast to her life, well lived
