In memory of

Anisa Argall-Gaboo

August 11, 1988 -  March 28, 2023

“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.”
-Thomas Campbell

When we lost Anisa on March 28, we lost much.
She burst into the world on August 11, 1988, as daughter to Patricia Nasmith (then Argall) and Gregory Gaboo. She brought fierce energy, a creative force, the powerful ability to love and laugh, and boundless curiosity.
She leaves behind her parents, loving stepfather, Bruce Nasmith, siblings Isadore and Dorian Gaboo, plus her cousin Sterling Alleyne, and also passes from the lives of her caring uncles and aunts, Charlie and Rebecca Argall and Janice and Dalton Alleyne.
All who loved her will miss the roar of her laugh, powerful hugs, and the crackle of her energy. Her life and death will remind us that none of us wants to be remembered for our mistakes but rather for our many acts of kindness and joy, large and small.
Anisa was a beautiful, exotic flower who brought so much to our lives.
May she now have peace.

We remember a gorgeous, loving, kind and generous woman; a beautiful and vibrant soul. From the time she was a child, she was present, so giving, always asking how she could help out. Anisa will always be a part of our family and in our hearts.

Dearest Pat, I am so very sorry for your loss. I heard about dear Anisa only moments ago and can’t imagine what it must feel like to lose her at such an early stage of life. I embrace you and pray that God may grant you the strength and patience needed for the days to come. Sending you my loving thoughts! Your sister in spirit. Sherry

Dearest Pat,

I cannot believe this incredibly sad news. Since I heard about her radiant soul's passing to the world of light, I have thought of you and have embraced you with my love and prayers. May God gives you the strength to work through the pain and grief and see the bright light that she was and continues to be. This prayer and the analogies in it has helped me a lot when reflecting on the pain of separation from our loved ones. I'm sharing it with you here to bring some comfort to your heart.

With much love,
Iren Hessami Koltermann

He is God!
O peerless Lord! Praised be Thou for having kindled that light in the glass of the Concourse on high, for having guided that bird of faithfulness to the nest of the Abhá Kingdom. Thou hast joined that precious river to the mighty sea, Thou hast returned that spreading ray of light to the Sun of Truth. Thou hast welcomed that captive of remoteness into the garden of reunion, and led him who longed to look upon Thee to Thy presence in Thy bright place of lights.
Thou art the Lord of tender love, Thou art the last goal of the yearning heart, Thou art the dearest wish of the martyr’s soul.
