With sadness in our hearts, the family of Andjelia (Angela) Dobric, announces her passing on May 7th, 2021. Angela left this earthly realm after a long battle with breast cancer. It would be wrong to say that she lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When others would have broken, Angela stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no one quite like Angela and although she is no longer with us, it does not mean she lost her fight.
She has earned her wings and it brings the family great comfort knowing that she will be reunited with her daughter, Ljubinka:

Her daughter’s waiting in heaven,
wearing wings of Gold,
waiting for today,
when Angela’s hand again she’ll hold.


Services will be held at York Cemetery on Monday, May 10th but due to the current COVID-19 gathering restrictions, it will be a small private family gathering, limited to 10, by invite only.
