In memory of

Andy Louis Molnar

September 8, 1980 -  March 17, 2021

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andy Louis Molnar. With his loving family by his side, Andy left us on March 17th, 2021 at a young age of 40 years.

Andy is survived by his devoted and beloved partner Brent and was a fur-daddy to Tito. Loving son of Eve and Richard. Dear brother to Christopher (Alexandra) and Erika (Randell). “Uncle Andy” to Teya, Noa, Nash, Carly and Cole. Nephew to Magdalena, Susie (Kevin), Erzsebet, Robert (Heather), Harumi, Eugene (Nelly) and Tracy. Grandson in-law to Pamela.

Cousin to Judith, Lauren, Hillary, Maxwell, Winston, Darlene (Joe), Karmen (Laura), Andrea (Brian), Jozsef, Katherine, William, Lauren, Alex (Robin), Clara (Paul), Cassondra, Cameron, Tibi, Andika, Reka, Jason (Victoria), Celeste, Renee, Hunter, Dale (Emma) Heath, Adi.

Predeceased by Anna Lang, Jeno Moldovanyi, Bela Molnar, Maria Molnar, Beatrice Rioux, Aranka Moldovanyi, Joseph Szecsei, Clara Becz, Alex Becz, Donald Rioux, Maggie Szescei, Keith Geobey, Adrian Geobey, Peter Geobey, William Molnar, Pali Csik, and Anna Bilcsik.

It is evident that Andy touched the lives of so many. His smile brought warmth and love to every room he entered. Andy gave hugs as genuine and loving as he was. He made everyone feel like they were the most important person on earth, and in his eyes, they were. He valued every person that entered into his life.

Words cannot express how much Andy will be missed, but he will be remembered often as he brought such joy and light to the people around him.

Andy was a lover of art design and architecture which translated into jobs in fashion and real estate. These interests later moved him into a successful career as a mortgage underwriter.

A Torontonian at heart, he embraced music and theatre and became a member of several theatre communities such as Kempenfelt, Cookstown, Aurora and Newmarket.

Andy had a love of travel and culture, but most importantly, his most special moments were spending quality time with his family and friends at his favourite place – the cottage in Oro Station.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday March 26th at 1pm. Due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions, please find the link to join us virtually: https://youtu.be/OTyRhIzTtIs

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Andy’s honour can be made to support Juvenile Diabetes Research at Sick Kids. https://fundraise.sickkidsfoundation.com/andy

My dearest Andy I can’t believe you’re gone. We had so many amazing times together. When I look at my wedding photo framed on my wall with the most important people around me and think that one of my groomsmen is gone it hurts so badly. This was way too soon. Only the good die young and you are one of the best. The absolute sorrow that we are all feeling right now is going to be hard to get over. You will be forever in our hearts and minds.
Love your friend forever Evan
