September 9, 1979 - October 6, 2016

Passed away peacefully at Baycrest Centre on October 6, 2016 in his 38th year, with his family and friends at his side. Beloved son of the late Roger Shen & Maria Shen, proud grandson of Fanny Yung, dear cousin of Stephen Chan. Andrew will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his Elementary School "Rat Pack". Andrew was always an optimist even in the most difficult of times. He was a committed athlete who loved driving his cars fast, going to raves and spending time with his dear friends. All are welcome to gather at the York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, 416-221-3404 for a memorial service on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 12:45p.m. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the palliative care units of North York General Hospital or Baycrest Health Sciences.

Dearest family and friends,
when it comes to Andrew, we are all close in spirit, because his zest and love of life touched as all equally. His photo speaks volumes about Andrew, it shows happiness, gratitude, pride, confidence and LOVE of life. As we look into his eyes in the photo, he is smiling back at us and we know his spirit and memory will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you Andrew for touching my life.
