In memory of

Andrea Patricia "Angie" Davis

July 27, 1959 -  February 20, 2019

Andrea packed a lot into her 59 years. Born in Falmouth, Jamaica to Albert and Doris Chin See, educated at Mt. Alvernia and then off to chilly Toronto, Canada for the last year of high school and a Bachelor of Science degree at University of Toronto. Andrea met Grant in the co-ed (revolutionary for its time) dorm at U of T and she was trapped into Canada’s 4 seasons ever since!
Andrea and Grant married in 1981 and raised their 3 children to become wonderful adults. Thanks to Glenn, Colin and Lauren for making us look so good.
Andrea was a professional banker, achieving her Awards of Excellence in Financial Planning and Canadian Securities. She helped hundreds of clients (and family) to manage their accounts, homes, projects and retirements. Despite battling very serious health challenges for decades she was also able to volunteer with the St. Dunstan’s community and quietly share her time and talents with them.
Ever the perfectionist, Andrea created and maintained a beautiful home and gardens that were admired by visitors and neighbours. Her cooking and baking were of such high standards that a dinner was always a gourmet event - and no one can resist her chocolate chip cookies.
Andrea was tireless in her wish to help friends and family in any way her many talents could assist. She will be greatly missed!

Andrea was a fantastic person that gave so much to so many. She was truly a sister to me and I always enjoyed the times we spent together. We were a family blessed by her love, knowledge, strength, cooking, and so much more. Her guidance helped me in many ways. Andrea will always be in my heart and the legacy she left behind will continue to have an impact. I can't imagine life without her, but we must carry on. We will love you always Andrea. Xo Jo

Andrea, I will miss you dearly. You were my friend, mentor, colleague, and mentor. Always a great listener, and indeed a perfectionist. Loved your laugh and your countless advice on parenting, food, and of course finances. My fondest memory of you was from our Canada Trust days, when we had to stay late to balance and you were so very patient with me. Until we meet again.

I still can’t believe that you are no longer here with us, but you are in heaven now.
I will never forget the time we spent together at the bank. We shared our stories and talked mostly about our kids, and future plans. I will miss you dear friend. Sorry that I did not get to hug you one last time. I will always remember and cherish our friendship we had. Our condolences to Grant and his family.
