Peacefully passed away at T.E.G.H. surrounded by family. She will be greatly missed by her son Nikola and daughter-in-law Dragica Krajacic. She will be remembered by her daughter Dragica and husband Mijo Kurpes (in Slovenia). Ana leaves behind her sisters Dragica Valcic and Family (in Croatia) and Marica Zapcic and Family (in Croatia). Known as a loving Baba, she will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Mario and Family (in Slovenia), Gloria, Stephanie, Anne and husband Dave. Known as their beloved Stara Baba, she will be greatly missed by her great grandchildren, Nigel, Ashley, David, Andrew and Aidan. Ana enjoyed being outdoors and working in the garden. She always kept busy. During the last few years of her life, her primary caregivers were her son Nikola and daughter-in-law Dragica, who dedicated and devoted the majority of their time caring for her. A special thanks to our neighbours and friends for their kindness and caring words. Ana was blessed to receive care from her Family Doctor, Dr. Paula Williams and staff, and during her final days, from the staff at T.E.G.H. We are so grateful she lived a long full life and now will continue her journey as our angel.
