Passed away at home surrounded by her family after losing a courageous battle with cancer.

Predeceased by her beloved husband and friend Harold, loving mother of Alex, Linda, and Tara, cherished Grandmother (Nanny) to Jennifer, Derek, James and Mitchell.

She will be dearly missed by her sister Joan, family and friends.

I knew Amy from my Therapeutic Chair Yoga class at the community centre. She had a kind word for everyone, and a warm brilliant smile. She would often show up early to the centre with a book in hand, spending time learning and reading and also chatting with other participants. She will be missed by our group. I wish her peace.

I had the honour of having Amy in my Therapeutic yoga class on Tuesday afternoons last year. She was a lovely lady with a brilliant smile. We used to talk about her travels and love of books. My condolences to you and your family. She will be missed at the Centre by the other patrons and instructors.

I’m so sorry to hear about Amy. We were friends for over 40 years. We had so much fun! Such a witty person and a great sense of humor.
I’m going to really miss her.
