Amir Shafei of Richmond Hill, Ontario
Passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 54. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Amir Shafei, beloved by his family and community. Amir was the devoted husband of Mahnaz, and a loving brother to Shabnam and Shohreh, and cherished brother-in-law to Masoud, Mitra, Mohammad, Sepideh, Mahdi and Lidia. To his nieces and nephews, Saba, Sana, Atta, Matin, Nika, and Angela, he was a source of endless love, warmth, and gentle presence.
Amir was a kind-hearted and gentle soul, thoughtful, generous, and deeply loved and adored by everyone who knew him. A respected software developer, he was known by his colleagues for his integrity and dedication. He truly made a lasting impression on all whose lives he touched.
He will be profoundly missed and remembered always.
To honour Amir’s life, donations in his memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association, York Region and South Simcoe, are gratefully welcomed in support of compassion, safety, and mental wellness in our communities.

در تاریخ ۸ اکتبر ۲۰۲۵، در سن ۵۴ سالگی دار فانی را وداع گفت.
با اندوه فراوان، درگذشت امیر شافعی را به اطلاع می‌رسانیم؛ او محبوب خانواده و جامعه‌ی خود بود. امیر، همسر وفادار مهناز، برادر دوست‌داشتنی شبنم و شهره، و داماد عزیز مسعود، میترا، محمد، سپیده، مهدی و لیدیا بود.
برای خواهرزاده‌ها و برادرزاده‌هایش — صبا، ثنا، عطا، متین، نیکا و آنجلا — سرچشمه‌ای از عشق، گرما و حضور آرام‌بخش بود.
امیر انسانی مهربان، نجیب و بخشنده بود — اندیشمند، سخاوتمند و محبوبِ دلِ همه‌ی کسانی که او را می‌شناختند. او به‌عنوان یک برنامه‌نویس نرم‌افزار قابل احترام، به‌خاطر درستکاری و تعهدش میان همکارانش شناخته می‌شد و تأثیری ماندگار بر زندگی اطرافیان خود بر جای گذاشت.
یاد و خاطره‌ی او همواره با ما خواهد بود و مهربانی، گرما و عشق بی‌پایانش هرگز فراموش نخواهد شد.
