Passed away peacefully at the age of 52 at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Loving wife of Gary Rusland. Beloved daughter of Sonia and Bart. Cherished sister of Kay (Glen) and Grace (Iggy). She was the adoring aunt of nieces Alexa and Amara and nephews Trevor and Ignatius. She was also the adored sister-in-law of Sandra and Andrew Knight, and Jeff Rusland. Amanda's infectious smile and contagious laugh will be greatly missed by many family and friends here and abroad. Her combination of artistic and managerial skills allowed her career to span 2 industries, first in the private sector at an Advertising agency and then at Ryerson University as a Communication Director. She will be remembered by her workplace peers as someone who always tried to lighten the workload of those around her and brought a positive and caring attitude to all of her coworkers.
