In Loving Memory

It is with profound sadness and everlasting love that we announce the passing of Allan Ball, just one month shy of his 77th birthday. Allan had an amazing sense of humor, passion for mischief, love for his family and friends, and always exhibited deep integrity in all his actions. He shared a wonderful and adventurous life with his soulmate Sharon for the last 55+ years. Sharon was his rock, his confidante, and his love of his life. Together they raised two wonderful and loving children, Chris and Daniel. The family quickly grew to include to include 6 grandchildren and two wonderful daughters-in-laws Andrea (Chris) and Nadine (Daniel) who all brought them tremendous joy. Allan’s brother Gavin (Lynn) was his backbone, inspiration, and lifeline. Always by his side, his loyal dog Rosie, his personal sidekick and his source of comfort and joy. Allan had a deep respect for others, quiet wisdom, and a steady presence that gave strength to everyone around him. His memory will forever live on in the many stories to share, the overabundance of laughter, and the love carried forward by his family and friends who deeply loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Port Credit Legion on July 13, 2025 from 1pm-4pm. Family and close family friends are warmly welcome to join in honoring a life so beautifully lived. Speeches from anyone who would like to say a few words will start around 230pm.

We are also very appreciative of the amazing and compassionate care provided by Bethell Hospice. For anyone wishing to make donations on behalf of Allan, the family would be forever grateful if they are made to the Bethell Hospice Foundation (link below) 💔

Our friendship started with the Balls at the Sandbanks 40 years ago. The most giving caring people I know not to mention you will never leave hungry, thirsty or without sore cheeks from the hard belly laughs from the quick wit and antics Al was a natural at. Al, you have left us with a big void but the memories of you will be in our hearts forever. It will take a million years for us to run out of stories about you! Your struggles have now gone and time to get the party started with your good friends who left before you in what is called life’s next journey! ❤️

Poem

I know that no matter what
You will always be with me
When life separates us
Your spirit will ALWAYS be with me
When I see birds singing I will know it is you singing to me
When the sun is shining I will feel the warmth of your love
Until we meet again, my soulmate and best friend you are FOREVER in my heart
All my love Sharon and our wonderful boys
