In memory of

Allan Iain Parker

September 20, 1957 -  September 30, 2021

Our dad was diagnosed 2 years ago with a Glioblastoma, brain tumour. He lived his final years to the fullest. After many rounds of chemo and radiation dad chose to undergo surgery to try and remove his tumour. After surgery dad was left with a loss of motion in his left side making day-to-day tasks very difficult. His life expectancy was very short.

Our Dad chose MAID, Medical Assistance in Dying. He had chosen this path as he did not want to suffer any longer.

We have arranged for a viewing on Friday, October 1st at The Simple Alternative in Pickering from 6 pm-8 pm. On Saturday, October 2nd, we have arranged to have a graveside service at Duffin Meadows Cemetery in Pickering. We will be meeting around 9:30 am with the service starting at 10 am. Following the service, we invite you and your family to The Edge in Ajax for a Celebration of Life from 11 am-2 pm.

Thank you,

Lindsay & Emilly

It’s with a saddened heart that I learned of Allan’s passing.
Allan and I worked together at Housing, Carl Hall.
We lost touch with each other after I retired.
My condolences to his daughters and their families.
Rest In Peace.
Gordon Spooner.
