SIMPSON, Alisdair - Died suddenly, on October 23rd, 2017, at the age of 61. Dear father of Andrew and Rebecca. He was born in Dumfries, Scotland to Hugh and Catherine Simpson, both deceased. He was brother to Jane Bray and the late Eleanor Mhari Lypps. He will be missed by his niece and nephews and many friends. Alisdair inherited a love of sailing from his father, nurtured by many trips throughout Lake Ontario, the Upper Peninsula, and St Lawrence River.

A celebration of life will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in memory of Alisdair to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Hospital for Sick Children.
