In memory of

Alexander Sevastian

October 2, 1976 -  February 16, 2018

Terrible tragedy shocked and devastated our family – my son Alexander (Sasha) passed away.
He died during his concert tour with Quartetto Gelato in Mexico. He was only 41.

Sasha is survived by his son Vlad (Vova), his daughter Maria, his wife Anya,
Alex’s s brother Vitali.

His passion was music, and he will be missed not only by his family but many musicians he played with.

I cannot believe this--please say this is not so :'(
He was always so alive and seemingly happy.
It has come as a shock to all...all of us will not be okay for a long time
I send love to his loved ones and family

You were Golden Alex, in everything you did and everything you were. The world is a dimmer one without you. Blessings sweet man.

Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.

I have known Sasha for many years, both personally and professionally. He was a mensch...gentle and kind soul. As a musician, he was a rare talent, one of a kind. The loss is devastating. But he will live in his music and in precious images that we have of him. Пусть земля ему будет пухом!
