In memory of

Ali Mahim

June 11, 1938 -  March 31, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ali Mahim on Sunday March 30, 2025. Ali is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Farideh, his children Ardavan (Leslie), Pantea (Majid), and Sam, his grandchildren, Ava, Arian, Arman, and Layla, and his extended family.

Ali’s commitment to public service was evident in his career choice as a Diplomat. Even after retirement he continued to keep himself current on world events. If he wasn’t catching up on the news, you could either find him reading books about historical events and poetry, or in the backyard gardening.

We are forever grateful to our family and friends for their support throughout these trying times, and especially grateful for the excellent service provided by the staff at the Peterborough Regional Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Peterborough Regional Hospital.
