In memory of

Alfredo Albi

February 1, 1959 -  April 24, 2019

Outstanding educator, dedicated businessman, world traveler, chef extraordinaire, all-round great guy!
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alfredo (Fred) Albi at the age of 60. Amazing husband of 29 years to Patricia, fun-loving father to his beautiful daughters Rachel, Hannah and Leah. Adored son of Rosario and Gioconda Albi, loving brother to Sergio (Sherry) and Jennifer. Beloved son-in-law of Secondo Panetta (deceased), Natalina Panetta, devoted brother-in-law of Maria MacDonald (Ray), Floriana (deceased), and Sergio Panetta (Sally). Very much missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Taken far too soon.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Fred, can be made to the Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation (visit CanadaHelps to make a donation).

I was sadden to hear from my brother Dave Morris of Fred’s passing. He was my brothers teacher and coach and worked with both my parents Dave and Karen Morris . He was a large personality and will be sadly missed. Your family is in my prayers . God bless.

I heard about Fred's passing through the Dufferin Peel board relays, and I was so sad to hear this news. I was fortunate to have met Fred in the very early stages of my career with the Dufferin Peel board, and he was extremely helpful in helping me "get my foot in the door" so to speak. Without his help, advice and counsel, I sincerely don't know if I would be where I am today. I have, and will credit him for that. In the time that I knew him, I always knew him to be and empathetic and friendly person with an amazing ability to inspire people to make the world a better place. You will certainly be missed, and have made your mark on the world!! RIP!!
