In memory of

Alexia Young

March 23, 1967 -  March 11, 2022

After a 10 year long battle with ovarian cancer, Alexia Young passed away on March 11, 2022, knowing that she was deeply loved. She was a bright, bubbly, and vivacious woman who was a light to everyone who knew her. She was a true extrovert, a real people person, and made friends everywhere she went. She was so brave and strong, and she fought ferociously until the end. Alexia loved and adored her family and her friends, and words cannot express how much we will miss her. Alexia is survived by her husband, Phill, and her daughters, Connie and Evelyn. Alexia will be greatly missed by her big, loving, Greek family. May her memory be a comfort to those who knew her, and may her love fill us with joy and laughter in her honour.

For those who want to pay their respects, Alexia’s Celebration of Life will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery on with viewings at Wednesday 4-8pm and Thursday 10-11am, with a service Thursday at 11am.

Just hearing the sad news about Alexia passing ,not a good for the people that knew her. Our condolence to her family at this time of grief. A time of reflection for me and other car club members meeting at Timmis in the winter for coffee, then waiting for the summer to come for the car shows.
She was that lady with the beautiful smile who all ways stop to say hello or talk for awhile. We are all going to miss her .
Rest In Peace.

💔Words cannot describe the pain of loss I feel for my sweet sister Alexia. 💔

She courageously fought ovarian cancer for 10 years. The battle was heartbreaking as she endured so many surgeries & chemotherapy and fought until the very end. Her strength and determination to survive was extraordinary.

She was a kind, family oriented and loving person. She was witty and had such a clever sense of humour.

Her smile was breathtaking and her warm personality lit up the entire room. She had presence as a very classy and elegant lady.

She will be greatly missed.

May she Rest In Peace in heaven, our beautiful angel Alexia. 😇❤️

We love you so much. Always in our heart. ♥️😘🥰

Our heartfelt condolences to all of Alexia's family. Words cannot adequately express how saddened we are to hear of Alexia's passing.
Alexia has been a great friend (but we consider her family) to both of us for many years. Firstly, we want to express our deep gratitude for her persistence in arranging for Ken and I to meet. She took great pride in her matchmaking skills which worked out perfectly for us, since we will be celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary this summer. Thank you Alexia!
We will always remember Alexia for her fierce spirit and inspiring resilience in the face of great adversity. She loved to laugh and enjoy life, who could forget her infectious smile. She loved and valued her family and friends and we will cherish the fond memories of our time together. She will never be truly gone as she will always have a special place in our hearts.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this very difficult time.
Alexia, may you rest in eternal peace.
Ken & Lina Scott
