<div itemprop="description">September 22, 1923 Florina, Greece ~ September 4,2015 Toronto,Ontario <br /> <br />It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alexandros (Alex) Kottas on Friday September 4th, 2015. Devoted husband of Fanni of 59 wonderful years of marriage. Loving father to Ruth and son in law to Nick Rakovitis. Proud Papou to David (Cathy) and Jason Rakovitis and cherished great-Papou to Zoey Violet. Alex has reunited with his parents Hariklan and Anastious and his brother John of Florina Greece. He will be greatly missed by his brother Thomas. A special &quot;Thank You&quot; to Stella, Dr. Chui and Anna and Frank Aceto for always being there when help was needed. Alex will be remembered as a wise man who believed in &quot;Leya Loya&quot;. Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 8th, from 2-4 &amp; 6-9pm; a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 9th at 11:00am in the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Road) Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Ankylosing Spondylitis- The Arthritis Society or to a charity of your choice.</div>
