Uncle Al was like a big brother and at the age of 5 I would follow him everywhere Through out my early years his brotherly advice was well accepted .
His excellence in creativity and dexterity was evident with the model train village that he designed and built on a 4X8 plywood sheet in the basement at 95 Pears Ave.
One Christmas he built for me a fortress for my tin soldiers. Happiest Christmas ever.
Then I ventured out in the world and married my wife Annie , who can forget the annual CORN ROASTS.
For the past year I have had some nice, monthly conversation with him at his retirement residence
I will for sure miss you, Uncle
So Long "Roy" " Happy Trails to You" and RIP
Larry and Annie
Uncle Al was a very kind and compassionate soul. A good listener, always.
The corn roasts in his backyard will be forever in my memory!
Rest in Peace dear Uncle.
Love Sandra
Albert, you must have been a wonderful loving dad, because you have the most wonderful, loving and caring daughter that I am so lucky to have as my sister-in-law. Rest in peace
Having been a friend of Karen-Lee for 50 years there are lots of wonderful memories but the way Mr. Featherstone will remain with me and my daughter for ever is with the wonderful dolls house he made for my daughter more than 25 years ago.
I wish to thank everyone that was able to visit and attend the funeral. I wish to thank everyone for their prayer support during my father's short hospitalization, during the funeral, and I know that you will continue to hold myself, Ray, Michael and Steven up as we navigate the road ahead. Thank you for your cards, flowers, donations and remembrances of him. I cannot tell you how much this means to me on a personal level. Thank you and God Bless each one of you.
