Passed suddenly at Centenary Hospital on May 26, 2019 in his 55th year. Loving husband of Sheila Haney. Beloved father of Deanna (Scott), Connor (Hailey), Kyle (Alison), Erica (Matthew). Poppa will be missed by Peyton, Oakley and Kinley. Deeply missed by parents Norma and Doc Haney. Brother Bryan Haney. We wish to thank Dr. Susan Buchanan, Dr. M. Chan and the great staff on floor 5. Cremation service by The Simple Alternative Pickering. As per Al’s wishes we will have a celebration of life on June 22nd between 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at 226 Oakridge Drive., Scarborough ON.

Sheila I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Al. My thoughts and prayers are with you & the family during this difficult time. Keep the memories close to your heart they will help you in the days to come. While I never had the opportunity to meet Al, I saw the smile, happiness and comfort he brought to you. My deepest condolences to the Haney family, all his friends and people who knew him, I was fortunate enough to have talked to him very recently, his spirits were high as was his optimism and he sounded great, what a shock this news is to all of us. All my memories of Allen growing up are good ones, and they have all come flooding back to me with his passing. He was the best man at my wedding and one of my best friends in life, through good times and bad, it's not fair that he had to check out so early. Allen will live on in the good memories of all of us that knew him, Of that I'm sure.
