My childhood memories of Aino ( and Olev) are intertwined with my memories of my mother and father , the nurturing environment of those early days in Woodbridge, living side by side, uncondtional love, happy times.....so beautiful.
My recent memories of Aino are just as beautiful...Ivi and I had such good times when we visited Aino at Ehatare. We would reminisce about the old days and also talk about current things, laugh a lot, and just " hang out". She would always give us HUGE chocolate bars from her " stash"...dark chocolate, of course. Words can't express how I will miss her. Whenever we hugged or kissed, it was like I was a little girl again, I felt so loved and safe in her arms.
I am feeling " the vibes" of a big Estonian feast up in Heaven, Aino, Olev, Saima, Riki, Erika and Joosep, Erika and Meinhard, Nora and Toivo, and many others...
Farewell to one of the most loving and generous people we have known.
May she and Olev find eternal peace together.
What a wonderfully loving and generous woman. She created a positive and secure place for so many people. Anyone who met Aino had to be touched by her kindness and warmth. She created great memories.
