Betty Lee passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2022 at the age of 75 following a tough battle with cancer.

A devoted wife to William Hoo, loving mother to Audrey (Stephen), Ivan and Andrew (Memi). She was the very proud grandmother of Stephanie, Vanessa, Emily, Nina and Sora. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Fatt Chai and sisters Jenny, Sharon, Wendy, Amy (John), Lai Chan (Harley), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and her many other family members and friends.

Betty was born on 18 Nov 1946 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After immigrating to Canada, she and William worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their children. She was a dedicated employee of over 28 years at Northland Power Inc. before she retired in 2018.

Betty had two great joys in her life – cruising and her grandchildren. She loved to travel and she was at her happiest when cruising with William around the world, enjoying the ports of calls and the international cuisine. Next to travelling, she was a loving mother and grandmother who proudly celebrated her children's and grandchildren's accomplishments.

She loved life and touched so many people, and will be remembered for her kindness, smiles, and infectious laughter.
