In memory of

Adrian Edward Gurney

January 20, 1975 -  October 2, 2022

Surrounded by the love of his family, Adrian Edward Gurney passed away at the age of 47 on October 2nd, 2022 following a courageous battle with cancer. His memory will forever be cherished by his girlfriend Aukje Beunke, and his family. He was predeceased by his father, Jim Gurney (Vivian Lane) and survived by his mother, Margaret Carey (Stephen Carey). He was a devoted brother to Nina Ramirez (Hamilton Ramirez ) and Uncle to Ryan Tranter-Ramirez.

Adrian graduated from Mohawk College with a diploma in applied music. He also graduated from Metalworks Institute of Sound & Music Production with a diploma in Audio production and Engineering. This enabled him to travel the world as an Audio Engineer on various cruise lines around the world.
Music was his passion, along with playing disc golf, and jam sessions with his good friends. Adrian was also an avid Star Wars collector.
He will be remembered by his kind heart, musical talent, brilliant sense of humour and his strong beliefs.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Bethell Hospice Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Adrian was talented beyond any of us and he was so humble and down to Earth. Man, we had some good times together. We’ll miss you brother.

My deepest condolences to the entire family on the loss of your precious son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin Adrian. I know he will be missed by many, especially my dear sister-in-law Nina that loved and cared for him so tenderly. Take comfort in that he is now at rest, with no more pain and suffering. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Love Cheryl
