Aaltje Last de Haan, 87, of Whitby, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
Born August 12, 1929 in Enkhuizen, Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Harmen Last and Aaltje van Dijk Last.
She is survived by her husband, Hendricus Bernardus; younger sister Harma Busman, three sons, Bert and wife, Linda of Whitby, Grandchildren Jason (Nicole), Brendan, Ashley and Great Grandchildren Tristan & Taya. Rob and wife Anita of Barrie. Grandchildren Chantelle (Brandon) & Melissa (Evan). Great Grand children Charlotte & Oliver. Glenn and wife Kelly of Oshawa. Grandchildren Jonathan (Kim), Mykel (late) Chelsea & Davyd.

Visitation will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2017 followed at 11:00am by a service at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home located at 1057 Brock Road, Pickering, Ontario.

Ali's family was the world to her and was very loved by her family and friends. She will be missed dearly and her memories will be cherished.

I always considered Tante Ali and the whole family as part of our own extended family when we were younger. I have fond memories of parties, the cottage, and many, many get togethers. She lived a long and happy life with surrounded by so many who loved her. She will be missed! xoxo
