Alexander Volfson

Alexander Volfson, born in Minsk, Belarus passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the age of 75. He will be dearly missed by his wife Olga, daughter Yulia, Son-in-law Yevgeny, grandchildren Denis and Mark, and by extended family and friends.

Alexander formerly graduated from the Byelorussian polytechnical institute in Minsk. After graduation, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in various engineering positions. In 1991 he immigrated to Israel with his family. In 2002 he and his wife joined his daughter's family in Canada, where he continued working as a QA inspector in a tooling manufacturing company A-Line/Muru.

During retirement, Alexander enjoyed spending his time helping raise his grandchildren.

Alexander will be remembered as a hardworking and determined person with a big heart, and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Funeral Mass will be at ELGIN MILLS FUNERAL CENTER in Richmond Hill at 1:00 pm, Wed. February 23, followed by burial.
